The HIRF SE project underwent its 1st Annual Review by the EC on the 2^nd and 3^rd of December 2009, in Rome, at the premises of the University of Rome, “La Sapienza”.

The Project Management Committee and the various WPs’ and Tasks’ Leaders were all involved in presenting the Project’s activities and results so far to the EC Officer and the 3 reviewers assigned to the project.

Overall the Review was a great success with no contractual reports/deliverables requiring updates at this stage of the project. Some minor comments and suggestions were provided by the Project Officer and the Reviewers regarding the future developments in the project.

This Review Meeting was organized in conjunction with the 3^rd PMC (Project Management Committee) and the 2^nd SC (Steering Committee) project meetings so as to maximize the coordination and synergy of activities within the project and the consortium as a whole.
