HIRF SE 'Observatory on EMC Issues' is launched!

The HIRF SE ‘Observatory on EMC Issues’ was established and has gone ‘live’ as of the 04/11/2009 at the address http://www.hirf-se.eu/portal/. This Portal service is offered to its visitors as a result of the efforts of Task 8.4 – ‘Observatory on EMC Issues’ of the FP7 EC-co funded research project HIRF SE (Contract Number: 205294).

This Portal aims to act as a one-stop-source for Electro-Magnetic Compatibility (EMC) / Electro-Magnetic Interference (EMI) / High Intensity Radiated Field (HIRF) issues. In order to achieve this challenging goal, this Portal will:

Concentrate scattered information on the related subjects (i.e. EMC/EMI/HIRF), from a wide variety of sources. Such information will include news, events, standards, references/links, related theory & scientific fundamentals.
Disseminate materials and knowledge produced as part of the related project (i.e. HIRF SE).
Offer researchers and professionals from the field, as well as visitors to the Portal in general, a space for communicating, exchanging experiences and needs, developing recommendations for future research, establishing collaborations, posing questions and receiving answers from experts on the subject matter, etc.
